MBFWMx Part 3 - Fashion Lab
Saturday, April 23, 2016
Something that was quite particular about this fashion week was the fact that it was a multi-venue event. The past posts were in the Blackberry Auditorium, which is a fabulous place, that mixed well with the whole fashion aesthetic.
But saying that, my favorite venue was the Fashion Lab, a place that felt reminiscing of the classic warehouse raves of the 80's and 90's (quite fitting given that the final after party was hosted where the fashion shows were presented). The place looked like an abandoned factory, with bits of industrial design all around, and the people that attended were dressed for the occasion (myself included, going all modern English rocker and all). One thing that it is quite worth mentioning is the fact, that everyone had a drink on their hands, given that Heineken was the sponsor for the night, and for the after party... so you would imagine how the most exclusive night in Mexico City went on... (I had class the morning after at 9:00 a.m. and I got to a friend's apartment at 4:30 a.m. miraculously I got there on time, and in one piece, and looking somehow decent. I'm still unaware how that happened.)
The night was brilliant, and I spend a lot of time taking pictures of the people that attended, so I can show you the looks from the people at the Fashion Lab, the last venue of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
