Yesterday, I went to The War on Drugs concert at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City.

The whole time, I kept thinking about how I wrote the film "Deseosos de todo al mismo tiempo" with this music and how the friendship I developed with my crew stemmed from that film. It encompasses many of the themes I explore in it, some of which are sad and others happy. But everything was guided by the rhythm the music set... and it was this music.

There was an electric atmosphere, a collective sense of excitement and camaraderie among the concert-goers. It felt like we were all part of something special, united by our love for the music.
