I had the opportunity to do a brief photo shoot in the new showroom of designers Montserrat Messeguer and Lydia Lavin.
Using a pair of their famous boots and jackets, I found myself immersed in a world where elegance and contemporary fashion seamlessly blend. Fortunately, my wardrobe staples of black, grey, and white proved versatile, effortlessly complementing the array of styles showcased in the showroom. The background of the space, adorned in a soft beige hue, provided a subtle backdrop that accentuated the richness of the garments. The jackets and cowboy boots, celebrated for gracing the likes of Dua Lipa and Florence Welch, exuded a timeless appeal that captivated the eye.
The set was artfully adorned with beautiful clay vases, inviting warm fabrics, and rustic wooden benches, creating an atmosphere that resonated with both sophistication and authenticity. These elements not only enhanced the cowboy-inspired aesthetic but also underscored a forward-thinking approach to style. It was a refreshing glimpse into the future of fashion, where traditional motifs harmoniously merge with contemporary influences.
In selecting poses, I aimed to showcase the unique features and craftsmanship of each piece. Whether highlighting the intricate stitching of a jacket or the rugged charm of the boots, every pose was a deliberate celebration of craftsmanship and design. The experience was not just about capturing images but also about embodying the spirit of creativity and innovation that defines Montserrat Messeguer and Lydia Lavin's work. Overall, it was a memorable and exhilarating experience that left me inspired and eager to explore more of their distinctive creations.
