Footsteps and Frames
Monday, March 04, 2024I just made a series of videos with a lovely girl I met at an art walk, she walks smoothly and talks easily. Drinking iced tea, always wrapped up in beige and white tones, with boots straight out of an Elton John song. She enjoys romanticizing my city, which is famous for all the wrong reasons but has been growing for some of the right ones. And she always intends to invite you for a beer.
Her presence adds a vibrant layer to the videos, injecting a sense of whimsy and charm into the scenes of urban exploration. As we stroll through the bustling streets and hidden corners, her enthusiasm for uncovering the city's hidden gems is contagious. With each frame captured on camera, she effortlessly blends into the tapestry of Tijuana, turning ordinary moments into cinematic vignettes that celebrate the city's eclectic spirit and cultural richness. It's through her eyes that I rediscover the beauty and allure of this evolving metropolis, where every street corner holds a story waiting to be told and every encounter leaves a lasting impression.
